Titans: Name our Cheerleaders

Whilst we are looking at naming our Supporters Group and mascot, how can we sit here and not look at names for the most important part of game day (well for some)...the cheerleaders!

Post your name in here and as per the norm, we will set up a poll in the coming week or two and cast a vote.

Oh I think I can guess the popular choice, but I don't think it will be politically acceptable. :laugh:

It may be a bit abstract, but I'll throw in the name Valkyries. Might be the wrong type of mythology, I think it is Norse.

Perhaps we need to go in another direction steering away from mythology and link the Titans cheerleaders back to the Gold Coast.

I was thinking the Golden Girls...but keep getting a vision of the grannies from the tv show, eeerrr. Maybe the Goldy Girls or the Goldies. Goddesses is ok for keeping in the mythological theme.

Gold Coast Titanesses (Yes that is the female version of a Titan)

Gold Coast Calypsos (This comes from the daughter of Atlas the Titan)

It is the most obvious option, but I think it is too similar to the 'Raiderettes' that is used by the Canberra cheergirls.
