Not sure what type of announcement this will be, but will certainly be worth it for us fans.

There is a media event tomorrow at Robina State High tomorrow to promote the Titans school blitz. Prince, Campbell and Bailey will be attending. There will also be a special announcement with Titans Managing Director Michael Searle in relation to next season.

Well it could be anything. A signing, an appointment, new program or promotion. We will find out tomorrow.

Anthony Watts' court case was dismissed yesterday and he's living on the coast - could it be that we've signed him and are about to announce it? Handy utility player.

Honk Honk - Watts would be useful in A Grade not languishing in QCup hoping to get a game and filling in his spare time on the grog.

Lol Ryan.

Man o' man, of all sponsors to come up with. Sorry to say, but the ads that **** me the most, are the iSelect ones. Closely followed by the ING ones.

It's going to take me a long time to come around to the idea. :(

Going by what they just showed on the local news, iSelect sponsorship has indeed replaced Jetstar. :ugh:

As far as i know iSelect is the new Major sponsor for the jersey.
We are still the Jetstar GC Titans, and Jetstar have at least 1 year left.

iSelect choose Titans for major sponsorship partnership

The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans have secured a significant coup for next season after striking a lucrative new sponsorship contract with iSelect as the club?s Premier Partner and front of jersey sponsor for the next five years.

For the first time since the club?s inaugural season in 2007, the Jetstar Titans will feature a new sponsor on the front of the club?s jersey, with iSelect?s logo to replace inaugural front of jersey sponsor Jetstar.

In an innovative new sponsorship structure, Jetstar will still retain naming rights to the team after agreeing to extend their long-standing partnership with the club for 2012.

Jetstar Titans Managing Director Michael Searle said it was exciting to be welcoming a new partner into the club?s sponsorship family whilst maintaining the existing sponsorship with Jetstar.

?It?s fantastic that the club can facilitate the addition of a new major partner to the club in iSelect and at the same time continue to build on the great relationship with our naming rights sponsor Jetstar,?? said Searle.

?iSelect and the Titans are a great fit and this new partnership once again highlights the strength and appeal of the Titans brand, not only from a local perspective but also national as well.??

To launch the new partnership, Titans senior trio Preston Campbell, Scott Prince and Luke Bailey modelled the new playing strip for 2012 as they conducted a school visit at Robina State High School as part of a community blitz across more than 30 schools in the Gold Coast area.

Chief Marketing Officer for iSelect Mr David May said the sponsorship was a major milestone for the company.

?This is our first major sponsorship arrangement and we are delighted it?s with one of Australia?s leading professional sports organisations,?? said Mr May.

?It?s clear from looking around here today that the Titans have strong ties with the local community, and that?s a value we share at iSelect. Over the past ten years, we?ve grown our business on the foundation of trust we?ve built with the Australian public.

?Our partnership with the Titans is a natural fit. We are both young, and aspire to be leaders in our given fields for many years to come. iSelect is one of Australia?s fastest growing companies, and we?re very excited to make the journey alongside the Titans.??

Jetstar Group Chief Commercial Officer David Koczkar said the airline greatly values its partnership with the Titans.

?Jetstar has been a proud supporter of the Gold Coast Titans since the club first launched in 2007 and we are delighted to continue our association as the naming rights sponsor into 2012,? Mr Koczkar said.

iSelect is the leading provider of comparison and choice for Australian consumers in the market for household products and services. iSelect?s partner providers include some of Australia?s largest companies, across insurance, telecommunications and banking.

Great to have a big company on board as an addititional sponsor alongside Jetstar.

With iSelect at least their ads are funny. Not like those bloody insuranceline or real insurance ads that are laced with emotional blackmail, faux gossip and misery. And those annoying Premier Insurance ads, the ones with the hippy and the whale noises.

They dont actually do those puffin muffin ads anymore.

Their logo should look pretty good on the jersey and I find it interesting that they are yet another ORANGE branded company to be a sponsor of the Titans.

Don't like the look of next years jersey but I'm sure it will improve before it's released to the public next season :p

Looks alright to me. Im glad they went with a white background. Im sure itll get a few twigs before kick off in 2012.

But this is yet another milestone for the club, we are losing cherished players but this is the first time any other company will grace the front of our NRL jerseys.
