Hayne/Dugan (I really don't care, just neither as a consolation winger)
Gordon
Jennings
Champion
Uate
Soward
Maloney
Tolman
Farah
Mannah
Stewart
TLL
Gallen
Snowden
Hunt
Heighington
Bird
I reckon that's a solid team (Pearce/Mullen are damaged goods and Gidley's a never-was). Won't look anything like that, they'll likely pick a team that'll embarrass themselves. Either way, Go Queensland!

I think he is a QLDer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Maloney
Born in NSW, played for NSW residents, North Sydney Junior, Eels, Wentworthville Magpies, Central Coast Storm, etc. If he's a Queenslander I don't know how.

IDK I just remember seeing on another forum someone picking him in a QLD 'A' side.

Theres a lot to LOL about that side, feels good to be a qlder
We (NSW) are going to get dominated in the forwards, how did King got in ahead of Tolman?? As good as the dragons are, i dont think playing half their team will stop QLD, we dont need both creagh and scott and definitely not off the bench in creaghs case.. Backline is potentially great, if Jennings finds himself some form then ide be happy.
I hope Bird doesn't hold back tomorrow night so he can get through injury free!

Only two things i would change in that team
Michael Jennings ---> Morris
Dean Young -----> Idris
I think the team could actually win.
It looks solid IMO.
As a QLD'er I'm glad Stuart didn't pick Idris...he says he wants a specialist centre but he's a good running footballer and I'd play him on either side of the field.
Footballers have strengths on both sides of the field...eg. I could pass better to the left but with a stronger right foot step I'd step inside my defender easier on the right.
I can only assume Stuart thinks Idris defense will get caught out on wrong side because I don't believe his attack would suffer.
Really shocked that Idris didn't get a call up, but I'm happy with Soward being put in there, hopefully there's a chance this time round

Jennings should feel embaressed about getting picked ahead of Idriss as should Jason King as he shouldn't have made the top 100 players in NSW

Jennings and King are the two obvious WTF selections. Bring in J. Morris for Jennings and TLL, Tolman, Weyman or Douglas in for King. So many better players than King.
GoldCoastTitans100

King has been in decent form
TLL bad form
Tolman should be in the team
Weyman lol
Douglas on form you would pick king

I am shocked that Idris the Kangaroo missed out. But as a Maroon, very happy.
I also think Dugan is playing injured and will be found out in Origin if he doesn't heal up. Otherwise Id have picked him though.
Good on Birdy for making it and doing the Gold Coast proud!

congrats to Bird for being selected.
The fact that Hayne and Idris missed out on the blue's squad is laughable. Really poor selecting if you ask me.
I would have at least wanted Hayne on the wing if theyre set on Dugan playing fullback

Hell, Hayne at centre, get him involved, I've been watching the highlights from the last two years and he was heavily involved in what seemed like 75% of NSW points. Dugan certainly doesn't worry me as a QLD supporter.
