Coral Home?s ?heart? on Titans sleeve!

The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans are continuing to capitalize on a successful 2010 season with a significant addition to its sponsorship stable. Coral Homes, one of the largest and most respected new home builders in Australia today signed on as a Platinum Sponsor with the club for the next three years.

The multi- million dollar contract will see the Coral Homes logo emblazoned on the sleeve of the club?s jersey.

Jetstar Titans managing director Michael Searle said, ?We are very excited to be forming a partnership with Coral Homes, a hugely successful Gold Coast owned and operated company. Our partnership with Coral Homes sees them coming on board as the sleeve sponsor from 2011 - 2013 in what is a very exciting time for the club. The signing of another Gold Coast based organization to our major sponsorship space confirms the commercial strength of our region.

It?s also tremendous that a local company can leverage its brand on a major national platform provided by the Jetstar Titans through the NRL.?

Founded by Paul and Viki Sweeney on the Gold Coast in 1990, Coral Homes has become one of the Coast?s biggest success stories with a building and display home network now spanning from Bundaberg to Sydney.

The company is an industry leader in south east Queensland and has achieved an average 20% growth each year since its humble beginnings as a husband and wife team in 1990.

Coral Homes? Director and National Sales Manager Mike Baran said the association with another leading brand such as the Gold Coast Titans could only benefit both parties.

?We are a successful family business with a solid reputation and a strong sense of community and so an association with the Gold Coast Titans who also share these values is a very good fit for our brand,? he said.

Baran said Coral Homes places a great emphasis on giving back to the community and this was an important factor in the decision to sign as a sponsor.

?Over the years Coral Homes has contributed in many ways to help less fortunate people and groups in the community. The Titans are also heavily involved in the local community and so I believe our new association can only benefit further, the people of the Gold Coast as a result,? he said.

As a Platinum Sponsor Coral Homes will be known as the ?official new home builder of the Gold Coast Titans. New Mascot ?Clarry, the Coral Home? joined Jetstar Titans players Ashley Harrison, William Zillman and Kevin Gordon for today?s announcement. The new Jersey will be available in the Titans Merchandise Store in time for the Christmas rush.

The sleeve sponsorship position became vacant at the end of the 2010 NRL season after ABC Roofing?s contract term came to an end. The void quickly filled (within just four days of being on the market) following the unprecedented level of corporate enquiry after the club?s historic preliminary finals berth.

The commercial success since has seen the club reach the half way mark in Corporate Hospitality Sales. The club?s ticketed membership numbers for 2011 have already exceeded last season?s.

In fact all membership areas of the club are on the rise with our current total sitting at 51,402. (Facebook 42054, Ticketed 5548, Twitter 3800). Our website is commanding record growth with an average of 150,000 unique browsers each month and video streams up 460 % on last year.

These figures are on the back of what was a bumper year for the Titans branding key performance indicators. Australia?s leading Brand Analysis company, Repucom Australia, conducted a comprehensive analysis of all brand sponsorship activity within
televised sport, metropolitan news and print media in Australia in 2010.

The Titans results were unprecedented in the history of national Gold Coast sporting teams and have the club well placed compared with other leading national sporting clubs across the country.

In 2010 the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans sponsors recorded a total media exposure value of $8.631million. The club also enjoyed :

? positive media exposure results for all Titans major media partners, highlighted by a 60% growth in FTA television audiences.
? a cumulative television audience of 16.303 million viewers during the 2010 premiership season (up 23% over last year). The Titans secured four more additional free to air matches which assisted the growth figure over last year.
? The Titans clash during week one of the final series proved to be the most valuable fixture delivering a total dedicated value of just under half a million dollars.

Repucom also noted QLD based sponsorship appear to gain a greater retention amongst club supporters with sponsors of the Titans enjoying on average recall level of 41.07%. the average recall amongst sponsors of non-Queensland teams currently sits at 22.79%

Searle said the results are great news for our club and its sponsors particularly for Coral Homes. ?The Repucom results translate to exciting news for our new sponsor, who could already expect to gain an excess in media exposure to the tune of $1.7 million dollars if we achieve the same coverage results we did this year.?

Today?s announcement also coincides with the release of the Jetstar Titans new look playing strip.

In an NRL first, apparel sponsor Adidas has incorporated its instantly recognizable and internationally renowned three stripes on the shoulder position of the jersey.

They have also highlighted the sword to make it appear more bold, enhancing the combatant elements of the playing strip. Adidas have also changed the design elements of the training jersey.

A honeycombed pattern of minute sized Titans helmets creates the fish scale appearance of to make the training jersey look more like an armory vest.
