CENTRAL COMETS v TWEED HEADS
Saturday, August 21 @ Browne Park, 7pm

The Central Comets have been bolstered by the inclusion of Bronco Nick Kenny for the round 21 clash. The Rockhampton product?s inclusion is a massive boost for the depleted Comets, who are down on forward power with the likes of Darren Mapp and Alan Rothery on the sideline. Comets coach Wayne Barnett believes Kenny is capable of playing close to the full 80 minutes in front of his home crowd. A Comets victory would put the team out of the running for the dreaded wooden-spoon. However, the home side won?t have an easy task against a Tweed outfit that fought for every inch in last Saturday?s 18-all draw against the Mackay Cutters. Tweed is also out of finals contention but will fancy its chances of finishing the season with two wins and extending their premiership tally to a respectable 19 points. Exciting Tweed fullback Shannon Walker will take the field for his 50th Cup match with the Seagulls. The star of the Tweed?s 2007 premiership win has scored a staggering 42 tries from just 49 appearances.
