Mat Rogers and O'Dwyer return. As well as Bodene.

I'm thinking of making a banner for O'Dwyer!

We are also going to hand out flyers to fans about the brand new 4 Game Membership, so if you are around before the game, come and lend a hand.

Manly will be loud and massive there, so we need to stand up and protect our house!

Will be a great game, excited by the inclusion of O'dwyer, Bodene and James. Hopefully Ryan james doesnt get to excited of being in his debut first game, and just plays his footy without thinking to much :)

Otherwise, should be a great game!

Blazer:thumbsup:

James gives the faithful a look at future
Jake Dew | June 12th, 2010

IT took 30 minutes last night for the Titans faithful to get a taste of the future.

As the teenager with the big mop of hair made his way to the sidelines, waiting for the call from coach John Cartwright to make his entrance, it marked another significant chapter for both the Titans and the Gold Coast.

The diehards in The Legion needed no introduction -- they already knew the name Ryan James.
His stint on the park was brief but for the 17,508 fans in the stands and many more at home, you will hear no complaints should James find himself back in the Titans' strip again in 2011.

Standing at 192cm and tipping the scales at 111kg, it was easy to forget that James was playing only his first game, especially watching the way he had no hesitation ripping in.

His defence was stinging, his ball carries were effective.

Even packing down opposite Josh Perry didn't phase the rookie, with the 18-year-old showing he wasn't afraid with a bit of push and shove at the opening scrum of the second half.

In the pressure-cooker world of the NRL, only the `special kids' are blooded in the forwards at such a young age.

But as Roosters recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan, the man to first notice the rangy kid from the Bilambil Jets, said before a ball had even been kicked, the former PBC and Australian Schoolboys star was one of the special ones.

The Titans coaching staff have kept close tabs on his progression from schoolboy superstar, to Toyota Cup skipper and now NRL first-grader.

The brief appearance of the Titans debutant last night also did a lot to appease those concerned about the talent within their ranks.

Add to that the influence experienced veterans Anthony Laffranchi, Luke Bailey, Michael Henderson, Brad Meyers and Mark Minichiello have over these rising stars and the future looks bright.

Especially when you have names like James, Will Matthews, Bodene Thompson and another rookie waiting in the wings Ben Ridge, on your books.
