Titans gear up for historic team photo

The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans literally geared up for season 2010 today when the entire NRL squad donned the club?s new adidas playing strip for the very first time.
The club?s full-time playing squad received their first look at the new playing strip as they gathered for an historic team photo in front of the club?s new $30 million home ? the Centre of Excellence at Robina, adjacent to Skilled Park.
The photo will be used on Jetstar Titans promotional posters throughout season 2010.
The Jetstar Titans? new cutting edge playing strip is 30 per cent lighter than previous rugby league strips made by adidas and features Climacool? technology which provides a more breathable garment that has a greater ability to repel sweat ? making the athlete cooler.
The highlight of the new look is the introduction of swords into the design of the playing jerseys. The home jersey features a navy to surf (light blue) gradient while the away strip is predominantly white.
Further features include a new open collar and specially designed sleeve which contours to the players? muscles.
The Titans will play their first pre-season trial match in just over a weeks time when a composite side made up of senior players and NYC players takes on the Brisbane Broncos NYC team at Briggs Road Oval, Ipswich on Friday, February 12.
