Well you lot have been immortalized. The smurfs started as a cartoon character, you made it a Titans ?mascot? (for want of different way of putting it) and you have now been made back to a cartoon character as a Titans ?mascot? (in the paper for anyone who hasnt seen it yet)

A huge WAY TO GO to everyone who has painted up over the last few years.:thumbsup:

Oh and the front page of todays Gold Coast Bulli??? Friggin awesome. Cracks me up with the players looking up at you like some sort of blue angelic inspiration?????.too funny. :laugh:

I ve uploaded some of the many many photo s I took........ and that was nothing compared to what the paper took....... that was the longest photo shoot I ve been to, its a wonder all that paint didnt just melt off.

I ve also got what I ve now named the "smurf mobile" ....... to funny following it out to the airport, blue hands waving out the windows....:laugh:

Oh and Ms Smurfette...... I didnt mean to scare you...... and I m sorry for laughing.

I'd love to join the Smurf thread by saying you guys are fantastic.

Like Wade said in the paper, it not only motivates the players but other fans as well. They set the bar high for us all.

Thank you so much for your efforts. It never gets old watching you guys and girls walk around and watching people's excited reactions!

haha we love doing it and i think the highlight of this yr for me was the final game when davey and i were talking to a young guy in a wheelchair who was amazing ....him and his dad were there watching the Broncos game and he said that next year when he is walking again he is going to come stand with us blue smurfs in the front row ....was good to hear and was a good feeling ...and i look forward to having him by my side next yr!!!

Mate that was such a moving moment with you and Davey and Freddy. It just goes to show how big the game is and how fans are so important. You guys are role models, just like the players. And you dont have to be, you dont get the big pay packets. You choose to be, cause you love it.

Next year we will get him front row and definitely get his trumpet in! :thumbsup:

To me it was the best example of what fan power does for rugby league and the community.
