A shame that both our feeder clubs are up north because with the Titans bye it is a great opportunity to get our footy fix with the Queensland Cup. But there are still lots of quality football games around the South East.

Some of our Titans boys will feature for Tweed in Mead, Jefferies, Atkins, White, Davis, Graham, Matthews, Thompson and of course Conn.

Not sure on Mead as he was injured last week.

That's quite an amount of Titans there. We really should make more effort to regularly see our boys play and support a local team in the Tweed.

PRIDE v TWEED HEADS
Saturday, May 30 @ Barlow Park 7pm

THE Pride meets its bogey team - the Tweed Heads Seagulls - in what looms as one of the most entertaining games of the round. The Pride lost both of their 2008 matches to the Tweed and their run of outs continued at the start of this season when the Seagulls stunned their more fancied opponent with a 30-20 victory at Cudgen. The Tweed has named Titans players Jordan Atkins and Will Matthews in its side for the Barlow Park clash. Matthews returns from the NRL while Atkins is back in the fold after an injury lay-off. Both sides are coming off last-start wins. The Tweed snuck home against the Mackay Cutters 26-20 and the Pride was extremely impressive in its 30-16 victory over the Souths Logan Magpies.
