TITANS vs SEA EAGLES

This game is on the afternoon of the day the Relay for Life finishes, so we will be very hyped up but also tired. It'll be a special day, particularly because it is Sunday arvo footy.
I think it's a great opportunity for us to come up with some ideas to make The Legion even better.

EDIT: I understand you were just taking the piss and don't intend on using at a game. But still not the best forum material.

I will have to say Brad lighten up ay the legion says wrost things to the refs and players on the day........
No1 on here had a prob wen sailor was comming to town the amount of drug talk in the legion thread went on........
And come its not a kids forum and ot really was PG rated.....
Oh and if u want to make the legion G rated YOU better not chase TURBO arrcoss to bays to tell him TOO **** off for starting the WAVE ( im not saying piss off) infront of all those kids............Just a thought........

Oh I'm on trial now I am? Honestly that was an isolated case and anyone that is around me would back me up that I'm clean as when it comes to banter at a game.
Fact is we all need to try and keep things to a good standard, yea sure things will not always go to plan, but that is footy and that is passion. But saying things are ok to do because there was some sort of past precident is counter productive.
I will also put my hand up and admit that I did over react on Paul's post and I didn't read the first line at first. I know Paul has a great, maybe the best sense of what good conduct. And I apologise to you Paul.
Now let's go and talk some Legion for Round 11...

But half the things we say about wats going on with players and clubs have already been said in the media so wats the prob??????
U say its how we say it but 90% its with in the forum guidelines but half the time its the way u take it weather it gets removed or not...
Like i said its not a kids forum so if its with in the rules of the forum leave it weather the mod team likes (u) it or not thats why u have the rules isit......

Other forums are far more strict, I believe we give a great deal of latitude. I'm quite happy to be the unpopular spoil sport if it means we can continue to have a forum. :)
Now can we please get back on topic. We have a lot to prepare for the weekend coming.

Insomnia aside, it'll be great to have The Legion back together for the first time in weeks. I remember last year, Manly fans were very loud and vocal. Although I know the performance of the team always helps that.
We gotta pay them back and send them home from Skilled Park shattered and sulking.

Can't make it to this one.. but Shaun and I are going to the next home game v Dragons!! It's a Monday night game.. so do you think it'll be okay to buy the tickets on the day (on the net, not at the gate)? Can't get them til then.

I must say im abit dissapointed in lack of numbers in the legion today they all must of been worried about the weather well they prob kicking them selfs now......
I think we did make up for it we kept the chants going and going and every time manly piked up we shut them down......
We donr to the the small legion........
Looking down to the other goal post And looking at all the manly support i thought we in for a big task but thought we did really well........

Maybe there was fewer of us yesterday, but the passion and spirit was a high watermark. We didn't stop cheering the whole game. And the euphoria of victory was amazing!
I had a great time yelling out psyche outs to the Manly players, especially my nemesis Jamie Lyon. :)
It was sad that many of us couldn't make it, I know many were sick. But I just miss you guys ok. :( I hope you all get better soon! And thanks to Steve for lending Goatus his season ticket.
I was ssssoooo disheartened seeing that Manly fieldgoal go over our heads, but for once the rugby league gods favoured us and we drew a penalty. What a feeling.
I think it's a credit to Manly's fanbase, in my opinion they have been the most vocal visitors we have had. It was great to break their hearts though, especially after most of those would have gone to Lang Park and basked in the victory over the Broncos. Thinking of coming to Skilled Park for a free 2 points.
But this is Skilled Park! And we make any visit by a rival a painful affair and we have maintained our home record! We hanged tough, if that was ana way game we would not have won. Home ground advantage is so important.
Also I have to laugh at that Manly banner, at least they spelt it right this year. I remember the I LOVE BEVER sign from last year's game that got all over TV. :D
I'm glad Kwigibo has his flag at the stadium now, it's way more fun to go to a game without all the gear.

I didn't but I will look at it again on Big Pond and see.
On another note, you do such a great job as Blade. I love your work and it's always a treak to talk to Blade at the game when he visits.
At some stage near Section 30 you suddenly "ran" over the the fence to have a photo with some kids. I was shocked how fast you could move! It was like seeing a blue Donkey Kong go. You certainly bring Blade his own life and personality.

there were a few of us that noticed, but for those who didnt, the guy in the turbo suit at the end there wasn't in fact the original.....the bloke that was with him (michael) is the guy who is usually in the suit..... i loved the way things were getting pretty loud and crazy so michael jumped the fence to be on OUR side for a lil bit....lol

I was on a real high towards the end of that game. I definatley felt good inside and I really think it shows on the fans faces when Im having a good one.

Blade will be officially adopting the kitten at the next home game and his name will be STUMPY. Because he doesn't have a tail.

I saw that! I was like WTF is Blade doing lol. I was laughing out loud. You were on another level. You are the best mascot I've ever seen mate. Keep it up and keep working on your little quirks. It's a great way to develop character and if I love it, the kids must love it as well.
