Ill tell you a story about golf. (this is a true story)

I lined up on 11th hole at Parkwood, in a group of 4, and had a good swing, the ball flew about 4 meters before smashing into a duck (not kidding) the ducks head flung back, and the bird hit the ground in agony but not dead.

We all rushed to the bird, and were trying to decide whether to break its neck and put it to sleep, but even though its head was basicly twisted right around, it was now sitting up. Rang the club ect, they said they would send someone out, so we sort of just left it near the pond, and hoped whatever happened was either natural, or painless.

I was then asked where my ball went, i had no idea, we all were more concentrated on the bird.

So after a quick discussion, it was decided i could replay my shot, with no penalty.

It is a par 3, my hands were shaking from the bird incident, and my next shot went straight from my club, to the green and into the hole.

A hole in one!!!

We all just sat there trying to disgest the last 5 minutes, i couldnt believe it.

Im still trying to work out if i got a Hole in one, a Par (2 stoke pen) or a Birdie LOL.

As strange as this sounds i swear on my life it is true

I like to plat anywhere as long as its a shot a hole or beer a hole par 3 makes it hard but fun........

I haven't played since high school. Never had a handicap or whatever, can't even remember my scores. I do remember making the green in 2 shots on a par 5. Downside is my putting is god awful. Didn't even make par. One of my mates always got crazy length on his drives too. He also wasn't too bad with putting, damnit. :D

Coaster if u killed a duck at Parkwood that would still leave about 500 more to drop their Shyte everywhere but funnily enough i hit a ****atoo on the 5th hole & still got a Triple Bogey :D
