Not the Dragons!
Souths or Newcastle or Wests in my opinion.
Storm will probably play Manly in a re-match.
id say wests (larry cowra shield) thats if we dont play them in the pre season
souths wouldnt be too bad.......
essentially we want to play an 'easy' team so that we kick our season off with a good win...............but yea, thats wht everyone wants.............
maybe next year we can focus on ending our season well too.............

Yea hopefully we have more homes games at the end of the season.
I'd love to see the Bunnies play at Skilled Park.

Stuff the bunnies, I want us to play a top 4 contender who is underdone - bring on the Bulldogs/Newcastle/Storm/Warriors whoever. The start of the season is a chance to get out of the gates and get a win over one of the better sides who haven't gotten themselves up to speed yet.

Knights and Dogs would be ideal victims there Goose. Ambushing a Top 4/8 team would certainly be an advantage when traffic gets tight at the end of the season.

Im with more home games later in the season i think we had 5-6 in the frist half of the year??? We would be playing the bunnies at home next year as in we would have to go over to play the warriors at at home...
I also think we will only have to play manly and storm once next year..:thumbsup:

I'll be planning my away trips with the Warriors at home a must do for 09' :thumbsup: but i'm not going back to Melbourne untill they move away from Jurasic Park :nope:

Steve will be SHATTERED that Skilled Park is a Panther free zone in 09.
And Titan Pete, only one more year of the Storm playing in that substandard venue, then they will be one of the most attractive away matches on the draw! :D

I still remember that douche from that one Carrara game who wouldn't shut up the WHOLE game. I'm upset in a way, would have loved to put those wankers to the sword at skilled.
Pretty happy we are versing Storm only once.

Titans to open 2009 season against Knights
The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans will open their 2009 campaign at home against Newcastle after the draw for next season was today released by the NRL.
The Titans will tackle the Knights in the opening round, from March 13-16, before clashes against St George Illawarra (away), Bulldogs (home) and Melbourne (away) to kick-start the season.
Other highlights of today's draw annoucement are the round 10 away clash against arch rivals Brisbane and a blockbuster fortnight of home games against Queensland rivals the Broncos (round 20) and North Queensland (round 21) in late July.

So it looks to me glancing at the draw briefly that we only play the Storm, Sharks, Tigers, Panthers and Eels once. That's not bad. The Queensland Derby's should be excellent with the Cowboys sure to be a force this season and the Broncos are always there or there abouts. The draw does not look horrible for us, so there's no excuses from me if we can't make the 8.

1. Cant win away........... DONE.... Now winning our aways as well

3. Cant beat Storm in Melbourne..... DONE.... Thank You Thank You Thank You
4. Cant Beat St George...... well on the 8th of June that one will be DONE as well ;)
