I went to northern NSW this morning with my mate and we stopped at brunswick heads to have lunch at the pub,We opened the newspaper and there was a HUGE photo taking up nearly 2 pages of the legion(complete with painted up smurfs & Doug yelling haha in the background) and the caption under the photo was about how passionate the titans fans have been

patske,are you getting there when the gates open? If so if you recognise any of us at gate F just come and say hi and we'll guide you to the sacred spot of section 30 :laugh:

my boss knows one of the guys who own's the titans stadium or something like that. But hopefully i can sit with u guys!

All I can say is mission accomplished. One of the reasons I thought The Legion would be really good for the club is to help build the club's supporting culture.

I really didn't want any rugby league supporter to think that Gold Coast fans were lightweight.

And my expectations have been blown away. Countless Titans fans out there are such a credit to the club. The smurfs are cult favourites. Doug and Titan Pete give the club so much by proudly showing their Titans tattoos.

But what really makes me happy is that the average (And I say that in terms of numbers and regularity, the definitive Titans fan) Gold Coast Titans fan is amazing. Decked out in Titans gear and blue and gold colours.

We have one of the most passionate and rich fanbases I've ever encountered.
