Well the bye round is fast approaching and that only means one thing.
It's time for all the boys to dust off the dinner suits and for the girls to glam up and step out for a night of fun and festivities.
The 2008 Titans Charity Ball will take place on Saturday 10th May @ Crowne Plaza Royal Pines.
This is a great night to raise some money for some local Gold Coast Charities and celebrate what has been such a great start to the 2008 NRL season. I am really pleased that I have the pleasure of being apart of this wonderful evening and to rub shoulders with the boys the sipport so well.
Joining me on the night are fellow Legion members Titanstattman and The Chief and partners, along with Legion regulars Shannon and Brooke. We have a table of ten. 10th May can't come soon enough, am really looking forward to this night and will be posting all the photo's and reporting on the evening.

well its only 2 days to go until one of the biggest nights of the year.... i must say am really getting excited about the Ball....
The dresses are being made for the girls, the Tuxx have been ordered and bought, and of course our chariot is ready to roll....

Last night was amazing........best night of the year for sure...........
it was great to mingle with the players (i tried to get a few of them to wear the LEGION helmet, even tried tallis but i was pushing **** up hill on that one)
ive got pics of them ill post up later...........
everyone who was anyone was there.......i even recall saying hello to fatty at some stage...............
the food was great........Vince was great.......alyssa camplin was....ummmmm, well she was there too.......
Vince's segment was pretty funny........SHARK...= SHiiiiiiit + faaaaaaARK.....lol NEW ZEALAND.....the ipswich of the south pacific!!!.....:)
AUDIs galore.........great venue..........rooms were quite spesh too...
thats about all that i can remember atm......going through the camera is helping my memory a lil though...............lol
oh and a great shout out to DaveyK, Tittanstattsman (doug), the cheif, Rod? (owner of Koo Koos) and all the girls for their kind hosipitality in offering me a lift to surfers after the ball.......

I wish I could have joined you but I went to the Centenary Test Match instead. Next year we should try our best to get a bigger group.

at $200 a ticket, it might be a bit hard to get a big group........as budgets dont usually cover those sorts of expenses.......lol but i would have to say it was worth the price i had an awesome night...........
ive also got pics of some of the players wearing the LEGION helmet, but ill put them up later...............

Mate, best pics I've seen on this forum (Sorry Steve! :D ) Looks like a good night had by all. Really good to see the players and Mr Searle getting into the spirit of the occassion. :thumbsup:
