As a Brisbane boy, I'm pretty disappointed that they have moved from Brisbane. They were close and cheap and me and Steve were eager to attend games this year.

But now we'll just have to make a longer trek.

They also have the coolest name and mascot for a team ever.

I'm pretty sure there is a team down at Coolangatta, but I can't remember their name. Don't know what league they play in either.

I had a go at Blade-hockey, but quickly found out I can't skate for sh1t! :)
Ended up busting my knee doing vert-ramp instead, but that's another story....

So, anyway, yeah, does anyone know of an ice hockey team that plays out of Coolangatta? I've got "Avalanche" in my head, but don't know if that's them.

Maybe you can moon light as the blue tongue lizard as well.

I know people whinge alot about Americanised names, but Blue Tongues is distinctly aussie.

I'd be known as the blue tongue with a blue ass if I moonlit for them. I can't ice skate to save myself.

Hey, you'd make a good Ice Hockey goalie in your BLADE suit! Nothing would get past!

Its hard enough in those massive boots let alone with a ice skate on the bottom of them
