Giant young Sawtell Panthers and former Titans Development squad front rower Lewis Cooper scored his 10th try in eight Group Two U18 in Round 16, being the final regular season match last weekend as the Panthers went down 42-10 to Macksville.
The Panthers have however qualified for the U18 finals.

The Group One Junior Rugby League competition has produced an array of talented players for NRL clubs with the Titans having signed some talented players who you should see in a Titans jersey in coming years such as Ben Liyou, Ethan Foster, Rowan Mansfield and Kuyan Roberts-Laurie amongst them.
Others keep shining such as Lismore Marist Brothers youngster Kye Cooper.
In the U13 Group One competition he has scored 30 tries and kicked 28 goals from just nine matches for a points haul of 176.
In the final regular season round, being Round 16 last weekend in a 50-0 Lismore win over Kyogle, Kye Cooper contributed four tries and nine goals.
He has scored at least a try in every match this season and earlier in the season scored five tries against Kyogle again.

Speaking for outstanding junior players in the U13 Group One competition Alistair Faulkner is yet another standing out.
For Lismore Marist Brothers in the U13 competition he has scored 28 tries from ten games not scoring less than a double in any match.
In the final regular season round, being Round 16 last weekend in a 50-0 Lismore win over Kyogle, Allister Faulkner contributed five tries to the victory.

Titans contracted outstanding 17 year old Ben Liyou scored his first Group Two First Grade try last weekend in just his 5th First Grade match for Grafton as they snuck past Coffs Harbour 30-28 in Round 16.
Grafton finished as the Group Two First Grade competition as Minor Premiers. Grafton have also qualified for the Group Two U18 finals so it will be interesting to see if Ben Liyou plays just in first grade or also plays for the U18 side who face an elimination final this weekend against Bellingen.

Young Tweed Coast Raiders centre Edward O'Connor has been on fire in recent weeks. After scoring a double and kicking six goals in Round 15 against Casino RSM he was at it again in Round 16 last weekend scoring a double and kicking two goals in a 24-24 all draw against Lismore Marist Brothers.
Through ten games this season he has scored ten tries and kicked 37 goals for a points total of 114 points.

Ballina Seagulls youngster James Torrens had a huge day last Sunday in Round 16 of the NRRRL competition playing in all three grades.
He started the day in the U18 competition, scoring a try in Ballina's 46-14 win over Lower Clarence, he then backed up to paly in the reserve grade match (his 4th of the season) scoring a double in Ballina's 62-16.
To cap off his day he made his NRRRL First Grade debut scoring a double as Ballina won 70-10.

Titans linked youngster Kade Hill in his 4th U18 NRRRL match in Round 16 for Murwillumbah against Kyogle scored in second try in the Mustangs 20-10 win.

Titans linked tough young backrower Brody Jones continued his outstanding U18 NRRRL season in Round 16 last weekend scoring his 9th try of the season for Lismore Marist Brothers in their 24 all draw against the Tweed Coast Raiders.
The tough tackling youngster is still U18 eligible in 2019.

Exciting Northern New South Wales forward prospect and 2018 Tweed Heads Seagulls MM Cup squad member Oscar Clarke maintained his position as the top try scoring forward in the U18 NRRRL competition scoring his 12th try of the season for the Tweed Coast Raiders in Round 16 in a 24 all drew with Lismore Marist Brothers.

Titan Kel Sheather who started the season in the Tweed Heads Seagulls Colts squad even though he was still MM Cup eligible had a huge Round 16 NRRRL First Grade game for the Ballina Seagulls last weekend as they defeated Lower Clarence 70-10.
He started at half back and scored two tries and kicked eight goals for an individual game haul of 24 points.

Titan Kuyun Roberts-Laurie started last Sunday in Round 16 of the U18 NRRRL competition starting in the second row scoring for Ballina as they defeated Lower Clarence 46-14.
Kuyun Roberts-Laurie then backed up to play in the First Grade match (his 8th of the season) and kicked a conversion as Bllina defeated Lower Clarence 70-10.
The Ballina HS student is definitely a player of the future.
