Sad to hear of Paul’s passing. My condolences to his family and friends.

He was a deep thinker on Rugby League and loved reading his thoughts on Twitter.

Very sad to lose such a passionate man for our game. He lived through and was in the box seat for so much for so many decades,

He is intrinsically connected to our club.

I also have some personal experiences with Paul. Talking about Rugby League expansion in Hong Kong and around the globe. As well as Gold Coast history and the Chargers.

One thing that is truly stunning is how active he was on social media, texts and emails. If you look on twitter about him, it's unbelievable how many people are talking about how they chatted with him, shared texts and emails. Not just pleasantries but real discussions. I've never seen anything like it.

Paul's legacy will live on with our club. And I'm glad he has seen it on a strong upward trajectory.
