If that's the case, maybe the NRL need to temporarily set up a board to handle the offenders to do their utmost that everything is dealt with fairly. Otherwise there'll probably clubs that want to retain players 'n others want to unload at their discreation. But yeah, if 20 or 30 players in the poo, that'll have huge ramifications for the game in 2015.
Anyone remember ASADA and the "darkest day in Australian sport"?
Ha there is a new DMAA, i think its renamed name now.
Being serious though i would say most of us have tried something, maybe not as heavy but still drug related. We are human and make mistakes; some more then others ; these guys need to be made an example off ; not just our club but for the game. Being addicted to something is hard... This is not a simple fix...

Even if most of these charges are downgraded or dropped I reckon most of these players will be gone. Bird was on very thin ice before this I believe.
I don't think it's addiction, but I wouldn't know, but it sounds like a party, maybe mad Monday as suggested, I don't know, but I'm thinking it was probably a bunch of mates living in the moment. A dumb mistake, hopefully a one off. Live and learn. So what about forgiveness?
Feeling of the certain drug would be addictive. The feel of Euphoria...no forgiveness here; i would love to play for the titans, i know i will never (too cute anyhow ) ; they have had a great chance and screwed it.

Interesting, Lawyer saying it all comes form intercepted phone calls ?
I was pretty filthy when the Titans signed Greg Bird.
The man before the player. That's what they always said, then they started signing the likes of Bird, and other players who were off the rails, just because they could pick them up cheap.
Was it a bad idea? Of course. The saying 'one bad apple spoils the bunch' exists for a reason. You put this player into the club, give him the position of a role model for the young players... and well, to use another old saying, you reap what you sow.
I have not given the Titans another dollar of my money since they signed this bloke. I thought he'd be gone one day, and it looks like he will, but the club may not survive another blow.
Just wondering if someone can define "Supply" ???? Is it where the individual knows the dealer and puts someone in contact with the dealer??? That's just my guess????

I would love to see the club make a statement & sack Bird & Taylor today then after the court finishes with them it will be up to ASADA to deal with the problems.
