Gold Coast Titans confirm Neil Henry as coach
EXCLUSIVE: THE Gold Coast Titans could be leaving their Robina base.
The Titans are based at the Bond University-owned building, which was formerly known as the Centre of Excellence, but a source close to the building has indicated the club is yet to renew its lease.
The building has been surrounded in controversy since it was constructed in 2009 with the club offloading it to Bond in 2012 to help clear a massive debt.

this worries me and I agree is this something much more ominous, wonder if the titans organisation were told to get out $600000 a year lots of money.

This is very worrying. 600k a year is a lot of money but the facilities are state of the art. I think our only chance for survival is
A) Marwan Koukash steps in and buys the club
B) Titans members and fans buy out Searle's shares so the business community can trust and invest in the club again or,
C) Relocate the club to either Rockhampton or Perth. this one would be a last resort.

Moving house because they can't afford the rent. This is what happens when egos exceed their means.
Anyway, hopefully we can get some mongrel edge back training in a real gym instead of the soft nancies they have become over the past few seasons. Pampered primadonas.

$600,000 is a lot to pay!

i see this as a positive personally. if it was ego that built that unnecessary building in the first place, it would be just as bad to stay where we are if its not viable.
We all wished for a clean start, and if this is part of it and saves us hundreds of thousands of doll hairs per year, then im all for it.
it also ties in the other end of the coast and spreads our brand outside of robina. my only concern is that if we ever were to get shifted to brisbane, this makes it a bit easier.
