Outstanding Titans Group One Development Squad member Ashdon Randell once again showed why he is such a promising young rugby league player, leading his U14 Group One Grafton Ghosts side to a Round Nine 36-0 victory over Casino RSM.
In the match he scored a try and kicked four from seven goals.

Exciting Titans contracted Clarence Coast U16.5 Group One player Ethan Foster scored a try and kicked two goals as his side defeated the Kyogle Turkeys 20-10 in Round Nine last Saturday afternoon.

On Day Two of the Queensland Schools Rugby trials last night Reno Gerrard’s GPS Navy side defeated AIC 24-12. Reno Gerrard was dominant in the first half but sat out the second and should be one of the first players chosen for Queensland Schools.
Ronan Kapi’s GPS Gold had a 60+ point win over Queensland Combined High Schools. He has not stood out as much as Gerrard but still should be picked in one of the two Queensland sides.

In Round Eleven of the GCRL First Grade competition Titans Rookie Squad member Curtis Dansey-Smaller will start on the wing in his third First Grade match and Titans Development contracted player Tony Matautia will line up in the centres on Sunday against Burleigh.

As has become the norm this season the Burleigh GCRL First Grade side will contain a number of Titans Rookie Squad members in the local derby against Tweed Heads in Round Eleven on Sunday.
For Burleigh, Jaxson Paulo (fullback), Mikey Williams (wing), Taine Tuaupiki (five eight), Apitia Noema-Matanga (second row), Darius Farmer (second row) and Lochlyn Sheldon (lock) are all in the starting line-up and in his second GCRL First Grade match Tyler Szepanowski will start from the bench as he did in Round Ten last weekend.

With a number of Titans Rookie Squad members moving up to the Burleigh CGRL First Grade side a number of exciting youngsters get their chance this weekend in the Hastings Deerings Colts competition for the Bears/
Jayden Campbell makes his debut on the wing, Cameron Brown makes his starting debut at five eight, Jayden Heta makes his starting debut in the second row and youngsters Larryon Tevita and Daniel Shannon are on the bench.
An interesting selection is Titans Rookie Squad member Allan Lockwood being named at lock.

Must be a kick in the guts when GC juniors are told to "aspire to be the next generation of Broncos"...
